Le Jog is a unique nationwide running relay where corporates field teams to run the length of Great Britain to Lands End from John O’Groats whilst raising funds for their chosen charity. The event will take place in September 2004 and involves teams running 14 x 70 mile stages to cover the 1,000 mile distance. Since there is a headline sponsor for this event (UnumProvident, specialist insurance providers) all logistics for the event have been paid for and therefore all sponsorship money raised by teams will go to the charity with the exception of a small registration fee.

The route covers the length of Great Britain in fourteen one-day stages and companies can get involved in two different ways. Either by entering 100 runners to take part in all 14 stages of the event or alternatively entering a team (or teams) of 7 runners to run just one of the stages. The event has a capacity for at least 500 runners which means there is an opportunity to raise over £100,000:
