Since it was introduced in 1981, The London Marathon
has proved to be an excellent fundraising tool for UK charities with over
32,000 runners
raising £24M last year. However, the cost of this fundraising opportunity
is a large amount of administration both in terms of the constant customer
care participants require as well as the immense administration needed
to meet all the London Marathon paperwork deadlines.
In response to this and a number of requests from our clients, Skyline
have launched our London Marathon Administration Service for 2006. This
comprehensive service provides all administration support including liaising
with participants and handling all paperwork leaving you to concentrate
on the important task of finding participants to run on your behalf.
Whether it’s Own Place runners or those benefiting from your Golden
Bond entries, Skyline can take care of the entire administration involved
in the London Marathon. The table below shows some of the services we
can supply which will ensure you can benefit from this highly effective
fundraising event without becoming submerged in its time-consuming administration.

> Deal with all ad-hoc participant enquiries
and correspondence at all times
> Deal with all registration forms and bank any registration fees into
nominated charity account
> Send ‘acceptance’ letters and supporting literature to
accepted runners and ‘rejection’ letters to rejected runners
> Receive runners’ London Marathon entry forms and forward to the
London Marathon
> Support call to check on training and fundraising progress
> Send out final confirmation to runners including post-event party invites,
and t-shirts etc.
> Send post-event thankyou letter and sponsorship reminder letter
> Chase outstanding sponsorship money and bank into charity account |
